Fit for a fairy

Mini and I decided we should made a home for a certain fairy that lives in our back yard. Her name is Columbine Iceweb... which, obviously is Mini's name in fairy language. But, I'm sure you already knew that.

Even up here in Michigan we felt the effects from the hurricane. 3 days of solid rain resulted in a completely flooded lower back yard. The kids were thrilled.

Hello Friends! (if you're still there...) I'm back. Just wanted to announce that I'll try not to be such a blog slacker... like I've been lately. I'll be back soon.

Obsession of the opera.

Mini loves the Phantom of the Opera. Loves. She heard the soundtrack once, and has been hooked ever since. Take a look at these random drawing I've found laying around the house. At first I wasn't really sure if I should nip the "obsession" in the bud. After thinking about it I decided that eventually she'll get over it. I remember as a kid loving the music, and I somehow managed to grow up slightly sane. Besides, one of her favorite things to do is sing, and this encourages her with it. Also, I should count my blessings. Most kids her age are into you know who.


Sir W. has picked up on the soundtrack too. It is possible that I find this much funnier than it really is, seeing that I... you know... gave birth to the little fella. Take a look and let me know what you think. For some reason the video isn't loading on the blog, so click here to view.
